Himatsingka opened its doors on East Manning Street as a response to something missing in Providence — a space that honored both the morning ritual of great coffee and the unhurried pleasure of a well-made cocktail.
We believe a café should feel like a living room you're glad to leave, and a bar should invite you to stay a little longer than you planned. Every detail — from the grain of the oak bar to the weight of the glassware — is considered.
Our ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible. Our recipes are developed slowly, tested, and revised. Our staff knows the difference between a pour-over and a drip, and they're happy to explain it.
